I love a place that is locally owned, with a history, great food and friendly service. Menu has everything. And most of customers were locals. Often, with a restaurant adjacent to the interstate, there is more of a "Get-em-in-and-get-em-out" attitude, and not a lot of repeat customers. BUT Coachman is convenient for travelers, but mostly a favorite for locals--- so service and consistent quality matter. This was so good, and so much fun --- and the hotels within a block-- that it could be our "mid-way stop" to anticipate when doing a long drive.
